Project background and objectives
KKS-Energy, Kft. operates a photovoltaic plant in the cadastral area of the Hungarian town of Szarvas. The aim of the project was to complement the renewable generation with a large-scale battery energy storage system that enables efficient use of the energy generated, stabilises supply to the grid and gives the operation access to electricity trading.
Solution and technical specification
We supplied eight containers with integrated inverters (PCS), each with 499 kW of power and 1,677 kWh of capacity. The total installed power of the storage system thus reaches 3,992 kW with a capacity of 13,416 kWh. The delivery includes a supervisory control system that ensures coordinated operation of all units.
Scope of delivery
- on-site installation of the system,
- commissioning of the system,
- operator training,
- handover of technical, operating and user documentation,
- technical support and consulting related to system implementation,
- service support under an SLA.
