In June 2024, TESLA Energy Group successfully delivered a battery energy storage system
(BESS) with a power of 300 kW and a capacity of 360 kWh to SEPO SOLAR Plus. The
project was executed based on the specific requirements of the end customer, KOBERCE
BRENO, who had commissioned the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PV) with a
capacity of 900 kWp. The aim of the installation was to cover the energy consumption of the
entire site with the possibility of selling surplus energy to the distribution grid.
Given the market developments—particularly the drop in spot prices and the increasingly
frequent negative electricity prices—the customer opted for the implementation of an
efficiently designed battery system. This strategy enables the optimization of energy use and
enhances the economic return on investment.
Technical Solution
For this project, a BESS with a power of 300 kW and a capacity of 360 kWh was designed
and implemented. The system is equipped with liquid-cooled CATL battery cells with high
efficiency (1C), allowing for full charge or discharge within one hour. In addition, it is fitted
with a battery inverter with an integrated transformer, ensuring the ability to back up the
entire site for up to two hours in case of a power outage.
Key Functionalities and Benefits
One of the customer’s key requirements was the ability to dynamically control charging and
discharging based on current spot electricity prices. Accordingly, TESLA Energy Group
provided its proprietary software, EMAN 24, which, in combination with the superior
LOXON system, enables optimized energy trading. This intelligent system maximizes savings
while generating additional revenues from electricity trading on the spot market, thereby
significantly shortening the overall payback period.

intelligent software control, KOBERCE BRENO gained full control over its energy strategy.
The system not only optimizes energy consumption and reduces dependence on the
distribution grid but also generates additional income from trading electricity on the spot
market. The implementation of this solution represents a significant step towards higher
energy self-sufficiency and economic efficiency for the entire site.
